January Financial, located in the verdant hills of Laguna Niguel CA, was formed in 2005. We operate primarily on a referral basis, meaning the majority of our business comes from referral partners – existing clients, business partners like CPAs and estate planners, and our network of personal and business contacts. We continue to receive referrals because we focus on delivering excellence in each and every relationship.

We are licensed, highly-trained investment advisors who specialize in educating and enabling our clients. Our advisors have a combined 32 years of experience in the financial services industry and have all satisfied the rigorous demands of the SEC, FINRA and many state Departments of Insurance.

We are located in beautiful Laguna Niguel CA, right in the heart of Orange County. We are husbands, fathers, sons and friends. We are educated and professional, and we care deeply about our clients and each other.

2. What do you do?

We help our clients choose the best investments and financial tools to help them achieve their goals and realize their dreams. The process begins with an in-depth consultation in which our clients describe their goals and outline the things they would like to accomplish. We then present the best options available and show how those options will change their financial pictures in 5 years, 10 years and into the future.

3. Why do you do what you do?

We believe that sound financial advice is one of the most important gifts a family can receive, and yet is also one of the most lacking. We read voraciously and are passionate about our jobs – we love what we do! We are contrarians at heart, not afraid to question conventional wisdom or ask the hard questions. We weren’t born with a silver spoon so we’ve had to learn our lessons the hard way, though hard work. We do what we do because there’s nothing more rewarding than being paid to do a job you love – after all, if you love what you do it doesn’t really feel like work!

4. How do you do what you do?

The process starts with a conversation in which we talk about your situation and together we decide whether January Financial is the right company to handle your finances. If we’re a good match for each other, great! If not, then we’d be happy to refer you to someone who may be a better fit for you and your needs.

Once you and we decide that we’ll be a good match, one of our investment advisors will work with you to help you find the best course for your finances. When you have committed to a course of action, we diligently and efficiently implement the plan. From there, quarterly follow-up appointments are scheduled to make sure you’re aware of any important changes that may affect you and necessary course adjustments are made. We will send newsletters weekly with interesting news, and are always accessible to you for questions or concerns. Statements are sent monthly via mail and/or email.

5. For whom have you done this?

The investment advisors of January Financial have served individuals in all stages of life (from recent graduates to retirees), business owners in all stages of the cycle (from start-ups to established corporations) and entities such as trusts, non-profits, LLCs and LPs. Special Bonus. Where did the name January Financial come from?

When the company was formed, we wanted a name that was unique without being weird. Something we wouldn’t have to spell every time we told someone the name. A name where the domain name was available. And finally, the month January is named for the Roman God Janus, who is the god of new beginnings. We hope that January Financial will be a new beginning for you and your finances.
