Simply put, our process revolves around you – we don’t have a standard plan we try to fit all clients into. In a first consultation, we shoot for 70% you and 30% us, asking questions about your present situation, goals and hopes for the future, risk tolerances, etc. We consult with your other advisors (CPAs, estate planners, etc.) or bring in our trusted ones when needed. And we explain what you can expect next and from a working relationship with us. Then we analyze your situation and create a comprehensive plan. You ask all the questions you can come up with, and assuming we answer all your questions to your satisfaction and you’re completely comfortable with the plan of action, we implement. Then we schedule follow-ups to make sure you’re on track and address changes going forward. After all, the one constant is change and we couldn’t expect a static plan to keep up. We will periodically schedule group presentations and seminars to provide valuable information on subjects you may be interested in. We’ll send newsletters at least weekly to keep you in the loop. And because we like to play as hard as we work, we’ll plan special client appreciation events (wine tastings, golf outings, etc.) with no purpose other than to have a good time and show you that we appreciate your trust and loyalty. These are also great opportunities to invite friends or colleagues that may be looking for a new advisor! |
